Roots & Wings is celebrating! Why? Because we have wonderful news to share. Last Sunday, three men from our weekly Bible study were baptized.
Family and friends came out to support these men with smiles on their faces and food to share. It was a great afternoon of fun and fellowship as we visited and ate together until the sun had set.
Daniel, Carlos and Dionicio believe in God, they believe in His son Jesus, and they believe in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of their sins. And on Sunday, December 4th they declared those beliefs in front of friends, family and beach-goers alike by getting baptized.
We are overjoyed that these three men have taken this step of obedience in their walk with God and are excited to see how they continue to grow in their relationship with Him. Join us in praising God for Daniel, Carlos and Dionicio and for the work He is doing in their lives. We also pray that these men will continue to grow in their faith to become strong Christian leaders for their families and for this community.
